WHAT IS FREE RANGE?
USDA standards allow any poultry with access to the outside- even a small, outdoor, concrete pad - to be labeled free range. Petaluma Poultry believes that free range chickens are raised in spacious poultry houses. When the young birds mature and are fully feathered, they are allowed access to clean, fenced areas outside where they can roam and forage. Petaluma Poultry produces two free range chickens: Rosie the Organic Chicken and Rocky the Range Chicken.

TASTE
Rosie has old-fashioned chicken flavor. As an organic chicken, Rosie is fed only 100% certified organic corn and soybean meal grown on soil free of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers for a period of at least three years. Since chickens taste like the feed they eat, Rosie's vegetarian diet gives you amazingly clean and robust flavor.
